Job Description

Are you a qualified accountant looking to join a friendly, supportive practice where your work genuinely matters?

 We’re supporting a boutique accountancy and tax advisory firm based in Marlow, working closely with a diverse portfolio of clients. The team prides itself on delivering high-quality work, practical advice, and exceptional client care in a collaborative and welcoming environment.
 If you enjoy variety in your role, building client relationships, and taking ownership of your work, this could be the perfect opportunity.

As a key member of the team, you will work across a broad mix of compliance and advisory work, including:
  
Preparing and reviewing VAT returns 
Producing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships 
Managing Corporation Tax compliance 
Preparing and submitting P11Ds 
Responding to HMRC enquiries across VAT, Corporation Tax, and Self Assessment 
Assisting with Self Assessment tax returns 
Supporting ad-hoc tax advisory projects 
Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing guidance where needed  We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, detail-focused, and comfortable working directly with clients.
 You will ideally have:
  
A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) 
Strong experience using Xero, Sage, and/or QuickBooks 
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
The ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of client work 
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Experience supporting, mentoring, or reviewing the work of others
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience) 
Full-time or part-time options available
