Overview
We are seeking a qualified electrician with commercial solar experience to support electrical installations across public sector and commercial renewable projects across the UK. The role is field based and will involve working on solar PV installations and associated electrical infrastructure.

This position involves Monday to Friday site work with regular staying away depending on project location. A staying away allowance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation work on commercial and solar PV projects
• Install containment systems including tray, trunking and ladder
• Cable routing, pulling, termination and connection of electrical systems
• Support testing and commissioning of electrical installations
• Work closely with site supervisors and project teams to deliver projects safely and on programme
• Maintain high safety and quality standards across all works

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• AM2 qualification
• ECS Gold Card
• Proven experience working on commercial electrical projects
• Commercial solar PV installation experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Own vehicle required for travel to sites

Desirable Qualifications

• 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
• Additional renewable training such as solar PV courses
• Experience working on public sector or large commercial projects
