About the role:
Here at Teaching Personnel we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our dedicated secondary school team from the Autumn Term. The successful candidate will be a strong classroom practitioner with exceptional classroom management skills and a proven ability to engage, challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
Role Responibilites:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).
Maintain outstanding classroom management, fostering a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and department resources.
Role Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
DBS registered on the Update Service.
Strong track record of classroom management and maintaining high standards of behaviour.
Demonstrable experience in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging English lessons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for teaching English and helping students achieve their full potential.
