Prospero Teaching is offering an exciting opportunity for experienced educators to take on a flexible, fulfilling 1:1 tutoring role - providing personalised learning support to students outside of mainstream education in the Barking & Dagenham area. You must hold a QTS to be considered for this role.
These young learners have been out of school for various reasons and need more than just lessons - they need a mentor, a motivator, and someone who can re-ignite their love of learning. Contract Details:
Location: Barking & Dagenham (various local sites)
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: Flexible - based on each student's needs
End date - N/A
Pay Rate: From £25/hour
Hours: 1-3 hour sessions, part-time or full-time available
Type: Contract / Temporary
What You'll Need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or EYFS equivalent)
At least 6 months' UK classroom experience
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
