Job Description
The Role:
Month-end and year-end close - owning the process end to end
Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis & commentary
Support audit and statutory reporting (FRS 102)
Oversee GL, journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet recs
Handle VAT & GST returns, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations
Work with procurement on PO processes and supplier spend
Constantly look for smarter, faster, and better ways to work
What They're Looking For:
ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified
Strong management accounting experience
Confident with FRS 102, consolidations, and statutory accounts
Advanced Excel and experience with systems like Xero or similar
A proactive mindset - someone who enjoys driving improvements and seeing the bigger picture
Experience in a PE-backed or service-led business is a bonus
