Job Description

TeacherActive is currently recruiting experienced and qualified Mathematics Teachers for day-to-day supply teaching and long-term contract opportunities across Bristol, Swindon, Somerset and Wiltshire from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to bring Mathematics to life by building mathematical fluency, reasoning confidently and solving challenging problems. You will plan and deliver inclusive lessons, assess progress effectively and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Opportunities will be available from September 2026 and may range from individual day-to-day bookings to long-term contracts providing greater continuity within one school.

The successful qualified Mathematics Teacher will have:

QTS with Mathematics specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Experience teaching Mathematics up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Strong communication, planning and assessment skills
