Salary: Level 2: £25,688 per annum / Level 3: £27,040 per annum
Location: Lower Sydenham (Fixed Location)
Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young children? We are thrilled to offer three positions for qualified practitioners to join a vibrant nursery in Lower Sydenham. With roles available in both our Baby Room (for children aged 6 months to 2 years) and our Toddler Room (for children aged 2 to 3 years), we are looking for enthusiastic individuals ready to nurture and inspire the little ones.
The role encompasses 40 hours of work per week across 4 or 5 days, with shifts scheduled between 07:15 and 18:15. They are open all year round, providing essential care for children over 51 weeks, with a one-week closure during the Christmas period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and explore.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities tailored to individual developmental needs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication.
- Observe and track children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
- Actively contribute to a positive team atmosphere, participating in regular meetings and professional development.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Ideally possesses over 1 year of experience in an early years setting.
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
- Is a reliable team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Displays a proactive approach to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Is adaptable and open to feedback, committed to personal and professional growth.
- Shares a vision for high-quality early years education.
