SEND Teacher – Secondary (KS3/KS4) Location: Ivybridge and Surrounding Areas Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Considered Salary: ECT / Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale Vision for Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in the Ivybridge area. The Role As a SEND Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, tailored to support students with a variety of additional learning needs. Work closely with support staff and the SENCO to ensure all students have access to a nurturing, inclusive, and effective learning environment. Foster a safe and inspiring atmosphere where every student feels valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential. Contribute to the wider life of the school and collaborate with a forward-thinking and supportive teaching team. Whether you are a newly qualified teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner seeking a rewarding new challenge, this role offers excellent opportunities for professional development and growth. About You To be considered for this role, you must: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). Demonstrate a strong understanding of special educational needs and a flexible, child-centred approach to teaching. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Provide an up-to-date CV with full education and employment history, including any gaps.
