About the Role
We are seeking an ACCA or ACA Qualified Senior Accountant with at least 5+ years post-qualification experience in practice. The successful candidate will manage their own portfolio of clients, prepare and review statutory accounts, and provide hands-on tax and business advisory support.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring high service standards are maintained while mentoring junior members of the team and contributing to the firm’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse portfolio of SME and limited company clients
*
Prepare and review statutory and management accounts
*
Oversee VAT returns, corporation tax, and personal tax compliance
*
Provide proactive tax and business advice to clients
*
Review and support the work of junior accountants
*
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure timely delivery of services
Requirements
*
ACCA or ACA qualified (essential)
*
Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience within a UK accountancy practice
*
Strong technical understanding of FRS 102 / FRS 105 and UK tax compliance
*
Proven experience managing a client portfolio independently
*
Excellent communication and client management skills
*
Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
