About the Role
For the Family Help Hub team roles in the Children Services across all districts in Hampshire County Council, you will need to use your professional to assess, monitor and review the social care needs of individuals, relatives and carers within a specific care group. It is important to reach the agreed competencies, quality standards and professional good practice in relation to case and risk assessment, as well as to work in partnership with users, carers and relatives to identify current and future service requirements and contribute to service development within the scope of the Family Help Hub Team.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
Provide mentoring, support and guidance for other colleagues if required.
As a Senior Social Worker or an Assistant Team Manager, promote and sustain learning culture and professional development through professional reflective supervision and guidance offered to less experienced Social Workers.
Have the ability to engage in internal/external training delivery.
Liaising and developing relationships with people outside of Children's Social Care to develop and maintain effective relationships to support children and families.
Chair meetings and offer skilled support at case meetings as well as to support the Principal Social Worker in demonstrating and promoting excellent social work practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Social Worker Degree
Social Work England Registration
At least 3 years perm experience as a Qualified Social Worker
Evidence of ability to monitor less experienced practitioners.
Able to assess risks, needs, analyse information and recognise problems.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
