Job Description
Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Northampton as a Decision Maker on a part-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Triaging referrals and conducting MASH enquiries to assess risk and determine appropriate levels of intervention.
* Making threshold decisions and recommendations in line with statutory child protection frameworks.
* Communicating with parents, agencies, and internal colleagues to gather and analyse relevant information.
* Providing direction and support to MASH Officers (call handlers).
* Ensuring that all decision-making aligns with safeguarding procedures and local authority thresholds.
* Participating in multi-agency discussions and maintaining effective partnership working.
* No home visits - all static work.
Working Arrangements:
* Part-time: Wednesday (1:30 pm start), Thursday & Friday (9:00 am-5:00 pm).
* One day office-based, hybrid working available.
Pay Rate:
* £36.00 p/h Umbrella - Non-negotiable.
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
* Social Work England Registration.
* Strong knowledge of child protection, thresholds, and statutory safeguarding procedures.
* Previous MASH or front door experience preferred.
* Willingness to complete the current vetting process prior to starting.
