SEMH Teacher (English & Maths Focus) Location:Wellingborough Salary: Dependant on experience  Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Term time only) Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary by up to 45 minutes) Do you have experience working with children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs( SEMH) or transferable skills from another sector? Role Overview We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEMH teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wellingborough . You will work closely with children who have special educational needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom.  Key Responsibilities •              Provide 1:1 or group support to pupils with SEMH •              Support learning during lessons and break/lunchtimes •              Assist the class teacher with daily activities •              Help maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment •              Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students The ideal candidate will: •              Have previous experience working with SEMH/SEN children (desirable, not essential) •              Be committed, patient, and reliable •              Show initiative and a proactive attitude – must •              Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) •              Have permanent UK residency – essential What’s in It for You? •              Sociable working hours – No weekends! •              Rewarding role – Make a real impact on pupils’ lives •              Join a supportive and friendly school community •              Work in a close-knit team with strong collaboration •              Access to a pension plan •              Ongoing support and opportunities for professional development Safer Recruitment All applicants must be willing to undergo standard vetting checks, which include: •              Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be arranged via Teaching Personnel) •              Two most recent professional references (covering the last 24 months) •              Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for those who’ve lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the last 5 years) Please attach your CV when applying.
