Qualified Teachers (QTS) & ECTs

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking Qualified Teachers (QTS) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking for new opportunities in the Southampton area for the upcoming academic year.

We are working with a range of primary schools, secondary schools, and specialist SEN provisions that are recruiting teachers across a variety of subjects, key stages, and settings for September starts. The Role:

Deliver engaging and high‑quality lessons within your subject specialism or key stage
Plan, prepare, and assess learning effectively
Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to the wider life of the school
Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently

Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an ECT
Strong subject knowledge or understanding of the primary curriculum
Passionate about supporting pupil achievement and development
Effective classroom management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Flexible and open to new opportunities
Committed to delivering high‑quality teaching and learning

Contract Details:

Position: Qualified Teacher (QTS) / ECT
Location: Southampton
Start Date: September
Working Pattern: Full‑time
Pay Rate: £32,916 - £51,047 per annum (M1-U3)
Key Stages: Primary, Secondary & SEN

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:

QTS required (or working towards completion as an ECT)
Relevant teaching experience or placements welcomed
Safeguarding training can be provided
