We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Quality Assurance Operative to join their Packing Centre Based in Chippenham. As a Quality Assurance Operative, you will play a vital role in supporting the quality improvement and "right-first-time" agenda, ensuring products are legally manufactured and compliant with customer specifications. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will foster a culture of quality and safety awareness throughout the production process to uphold product excellence.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Maintain elements of the quality system to meet the requirements of company practices, codes of practice, and customer protocols.
* Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all component specifications, product specifications, and the QA and HACCP Manual.
* Conduct checks of products as outlined in the QA manual.
* Review, check, and sign off records.
* Assist with investigating complaints and quality failures, recommending corrective actions and preventative measures.
* Perform in-depth checks of packing materials and finished products when requested by the QA team and produce detailed reports.
* Audit sections of the Quality Management System to ensure compliance, reporting any non-conformances.
Person Specification:

* Strong planning and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work well within a team.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Previous experience working within Quality Assurance, ideally in food manufacturing.
* Understanding of HACCP.
* Food Safety Level 2 qualification (desirable).
Pay rate / Hours
* Salary: £29,542
* Working Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm
