Job Description

Quality Assurance Manager Grantham £35,000 - £40,000 a year Permanent We are seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager who is passionate about food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance systems Reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, customer requirements, and certification standards, while driving a culture of quality throughout the business. Key Responsibilities of the Quality & Compliance Manager * Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). * Develop, review, and implement company procedures, policies, and work instructions * Lead and maintain HACCP and food safety systems. * Ensure ongoing compliance with FEMAS and NOPS Assurance scheme requirements. * Manage product specifications, labels, and artwork approvals to ensure legal compliance. * Coordinate internal audits and external audits. * Investigate non-conformances, complaints, and corrective actions. * Deliver training programs related to quality, food safety, GMP, HACCP, and compliance. * Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Control team. * Qualifications / Knowledge for the Quality & Compliance Manager * HACCP qualification (Level 3 or above preferred). * Internal Auditor qualification advantageous. * TACCP / VACCP * Quality Audits * Risk Assessment * Food Safety - ISO or BRC Standards knowledge * Skills & Experience for the Quality & Compliance Manager * Previous experience in a Quality, Technical, or Compliance Management role within a food / agricultural feed / raw materials manufacturing, or related industry. * Strong working knowledge of HACCP principles and food/feed safety systems. * Experience managing quality systems and regulatory compliance requirements. * Familiarity with FEMAS and NOPS Assurance standards. * Experience developing procedures, policies, and training materials. * Knowledge of product labelling and legal compliance requirements. * Proven leadership experience * Benefits: Competitive salary, Opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality and compliance standards, Supportive and collaborative working environment, Ongoing professional development opportunities, Canteen, Casual dress, Free parking on-site If you are a passionate Quality & Compliance Manager in food safety and we would love to hear from you send your up to date cv to us or call (phone number removed) This is being advertised on behalf of Travail Employment Group acting as an agency in this instance
