️ Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist – Food Industry  Location: St Austell, Cornwall  Full-Time -  06.00-18.00  Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour Are you passionate about food safety and quality? Join our dedicated team in St Austell as a QA Specialist and help ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. About the Role: As a QA Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our food safety and quality systems. You’ll work closely with production, operations, and R&D teams to ensure our products consistently meet regulatory and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards across production lines. Conduct internal audits and inspections in line with HACCP, BRC, and other relevant standards. Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions. Maintain accurate QA documentation and records. Support training initiatives for staff on quality and hygiene practices. Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality-related matters. ✅ What We’re Looking For: Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in a QA role within the food manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
