Job Description
A new role available with a well-established food manufacturer that has recently invested heavily in its facility, creating a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into or progress within a quality and technical role.
We're keen to speak Quality Auditors, Quality Controllers, or individuals currently working in food production who are ready to transition into a quality-focused position. This is a hands-on, factory-based role that offers genuine development and progression in a supportive environment.
About the Role:
As part of the site's technical team, you'll be responsible for:
* Carrying out internal audits across the factory
* Supporting the day-to-day running of operations from a quality standpoint
* Ensuring adherence to QAS (Quality Attribute Sheets) and site procedures
* Acting as a QMS (Quality Management System) advocate across departments
* Conducting swabbing, checks, and verification tasks
* Supporting the team with ad hoc duties - including occasional help on the line if needed
Desirable:
* An experienced QC or QA
* A line operator or factory operative in the food industry ready to step up into a quality role
* Someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a strong team ethic
* No formal QC/QA experience required - the client is happy to train the right individual with the right attitude and passion for food quality
