As we continue to grow and expand our capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Quality Auditor to pay a key role in maintaining and enhancing the standards of our integrated management systems across all Group Company operations. You will be responsible for auditing procedures, processes, and outputs to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company standards, and client requirements. Your input will help ensure Kilnbridge continues to deliver exceptional quality across all projects and disciplines.
What you'll be doing
Audit Execution & Compliance
* Plan and execute internal audits across project sites, suppliers, and internal services.
* Ensure audits align with ISO 9001 standards and company policies.
* Monitor audit outcomes, maintain documentation, and escalate significant issues to the Quality & Compliance Manager.
Reporting & Documentation
* Create structured audit reports with clear findings and improvement areas.
* Track non-conformities and verify resolution effectiveness.
* Maintain audit trails, corrective action logs, and records in accordance with certification standards.
Support to Operational Teams
* Provide guidance on Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality protocols.
* Assist in pre-construction quality planning and handovers.
* Participate in site quality reviews and promote proactive problem-solving.
Training, Mentoring & Culture Building
* Deliver toolbox talks and workshops to raise quality awareness.
* Support internal training programmes and help staff prepare for audit readiness.
* Mentor staff on inspection, reporting, and quality control documentation.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
* Identify recurring issues from audits and support root cause analysis.
* Propose system improvements and participate in forums and innovation projects.
* Champion right-first-time approaches and foster a zero-defect mindset.
Compliance & Certification
* Monitor alignment with ISO standards and client-specific requirements.
* Prepare for external audits and maintain Kilnbridge's certification credentials.
* Stay informed of evolving legislation and industry best practices.
What you'll bring
* Degree or Diploma in a construction-related field (or equivalent experience).
* Previous experience in the Construction, Civil-Engineering, Manufacturing or Infrastructure sectors, ideally within an ISO-certified environment
* Proficient in planning, conducting, and reporting internal and supplier audits in accordance with ISO 9001.
* Solid understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, working knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) is desirable.
* Skilled in preparing detailed audit reports, non-conformance records, and correction/corrective action plans.
* Positive approach to teamwork with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent organisational, planning and prioritising skills.
