The role:
As a Quality Control Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our commitment to process enhancement, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to maintain the highest product standards, using both your technical expertise and your strong communication skills.
As a Quality Control Engineer you will:
* Inspect electronic/mechanical parts, PCBs, wiring, and assemblies
* Interpret drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and CAD documentation
* Investigate non-conformances, carry out root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions (8D methodology)
* Maintain and analyse quality data to support KPI reporting
* Conduct internal and supplier audits in line with ISO9001 & ISO14001
* Support process improvement initiatives across the business
What you’ll bring:
* Electronics qualification (HNC, BTEC 3, or A-Level; BTEC 2 considered for the right candidate)
* 3+ years in a similar quality role
* Strong knowledge of ISO9001 & ISO14001 (IATF16949 experience an advantage)
* Experience with data collection, validation, and database management
* Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
* Confident use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desirable:
* DMAIC, FMEA, REACH knowledge
* Internal auditing experience
* IMDS familiarity
