Job Description
Apex Resources are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector for our client based in South Lanarkshire, with experience in Manufacturing.
Pay - £15 - £16ph depending on experience
Shift - 4 day working week Monday to Thursday dayshift
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out inspection on incoming goods (including batch sampling) and outgoing goods.
* In-process QC checks - Essential experience required
* Communicate with suppliers when investigating supplier quality issues and address in a timely manner, proactively and professionally engaging production
* Investigate product quality incidents and customer complaints and ensure corrective action follow up.
* Participate on improvement projects to improve the efficiency and accuracy of all operational disciplines.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
* Proven inspection/ workshop experience utilising tools such as vernier’s
* Minimum 4 years’ experience within a QC / inspection role
* Ability to interpret design drawings
* Good knowledge of quality standards and practices.
* Understanding and experience of Quality Management Software systems.
* Awareness of how QC interacts with ISO 9001.
* Proficient IT skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
* Good communication skills and ability to interact at all levels.
