Job Description

Quality Control Technician
Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Quality Control Technician on behalf of our client based in Chesterfield.
Key Responsibilities:
  * Carry out quality control testing on raw materials and finished products.
  * Maintain accurate laboratory records and quality documentation.
  * Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  * Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  * Assist with R&D projects, production trials and new product testing.
  * Prepare technical reports and maintain product specifications.
  * Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
  * Support internal and external quality audits.
  * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality standards.
Requirements for the Quality Control Technician role:
  * Degree or Diploma in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science or similar).
  * Previous experience in a QC or laboratory environment.
  * Knowledge of laboratory testing and quality control procedures.
  * Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  * Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  * Experience with ISO 9001 is desirable.
