Bedfordshire | 40 hrs | 08:00–16:00

If you’re sharp on detail, steady under pressure, and motivated by getting things right, this role puts you at the heart of product integrity. You’ll be the gatekeeper for raw materials — the person who ensures every ingredient entering the site is safe, compliant, and ready for production.

You’ll join a fast‑moving food manufacturer with a culture built on ownership, curiosity, and high standards. The culture is collaborative and because the business is growing, there’s real scope to develop your career and progress into broader quality and technical roles as you build capability.

Based at a modern, well invested site your key responsibilities will be:

  * Daily raw material testing, recording accurate results, and escalating deviations fast.

  * Verifying supplier documentation and approving materials for use.

  * Maintaining laboratory information management system, raw material records, and audit‑ready documentation.

  * Trending data, spotting risks, and supporting non‑conformance investigations.

  * Keeping lab equipment clean, calibrated, and ready to go.

  * Supporting cross‑site quality activity when needed.

What You’ll Bring

  * Experience in a lab or QA role within food or manufacturing.

  * Strong numeracy, accuracy, and confidence with data systems.

  * Clear communication and a calm, steady approach under pressure.

  * The permanent right to work in the UK and UK driving licence.
