Quality & Development Manager – Ofsted Location: Burton-On-Trent Salary: Up to £40,000 Join an organisation committed to the care and education of the most vulnerable children and young people in our society. Role Overview: As the Quality & Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving quality and compliance across a range of services. Collaborate closely with Registered Managers and senior leadership to ensure regulatory standards are not just met but exceeded. Your expertise will be crucial in driving quality improvements and supporting services in achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding ratings. Key Responsibilities: - Lead internal audits and compliance reviews across residential care. - Support services in achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding ratings. - Monitor service performance, identifying risks and driving quality improvements. - Act as a critical friend to Registered Managers, offering practical and regulatory guidance. - Contribute to developing policy, safeguarding frameworks, and service standards. - Analyse trends and performance data to inform decision-making and compliance strategy. - Support readiness for Ofsted inspections, including documentation and staff preparedness. Skills & Experience Required: - Strong background in quality/compliance within children’s residential care. - In-depth knowledge of Ofsted and relevant safeguarding legislation. - Experience in carrying out audits, writing reports, and supporting service improvement plans. - A collaborative, solution-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
