Quality Engineer (Aerospace)
Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE + Benefits

We’re currently partnering with a well-established and growing aerospace manufacturing business in the Cheltenham area. Known for delivering high-precision components into highly regulated environments, the company is investing heavily in both technology and people as part of its continued growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a collaborative and high-performing team, supporting new and existing programmes across the full product lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities
Supporting APQP activities across new product introduction (NPI)
Managing and maintaining PPAP documentation and submissions
Working closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Quality)
Driving continuous improvement and zero-defect initiatives
Investigating non-conformances and implementing corrective actions
Supporting internal and external audits (including aerospace standards)
Ensuring customer requirements are embedded within manufacturing processes
The Person
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within the aerospace sector (ESSENTIAL)
Strong working knowledge of APQP and PPAP (ESSENTIAL)
Experience working within AS9100 regulated environments
Understanding of PFMEA, control plans and process control methods
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
