The Opportunity
As a Quality Control Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the operation, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of performance, durability, and sustainability. You'll work closely with production, R&D, and process teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, and continuously raise the bar for quality excellence.
What You'll Do
Lead in-process and final product inspections to ensure every item meets strict quality and customer requirements.
Develop and refine inspection and testing procedures, driving consistency and efficiency.
Partner with production teams to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
Take ownership of root cause analysis and lead CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action) activities.
Monitor key performance indicators and lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and enhance quality.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate, reliable results.
Support internal and external quality audits (ISO 9001 and customer audits).
Collaborate across departments to embed quality in every new product and process.
Keep detailed, accurate, and transparent quality documentation.
What You'll Bring
Experience in a Quality Control, Quality Engineer, or Quality Technician role within a manufacturing environment (plastics, injection moulding, extrusion, or similar).
Hands-on knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques, and strong analytical skills using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
A solid understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
Confident working with data and proficient in Microsoft Office.
A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving.
The ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
