Quality Engineer responsibilities include -
Preparing and maintaining quality documentation such as FAIRs, Control Plans, and ISIRs.
Supporting concern management through 8D investigations and corrective actions.
Liaising with Production to ensure in-house manufacture meets engineering standards.
Using manual measurement tools to complete FAIR's.
Maintaining gauge calibration and control systems.
Supporting NPI and process validation using quality tools and GD&T principles.Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -
Experience as a Quality Engineer within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of 8D, FAIRs/PPAPs and GD&T.
Skilled in manual measurement, inspection reporting, and root cause analysis.
Conversant with using the full Microsoft package and happy with documentation duties.Quality Engineer benefits include -
