Our client is expanding its Cell Spacer Business Unit and is seeking a driven Quality Engineer to support the launch of a highly bespoke EV battery component manufacturing cell. This role offers the chance to work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

 Quality Engineer
Job Description
• Manage quality activities during the introduction, validation, and setup of a new manufacturing cell.
• Identify root causes of product issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Conduct statistical analysis and capability studies to drive quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with QMS standards (TS16949 / ISO9001) and maintain control documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues efficiently.

Quality Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, measurement, and statistical analysis tools.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, and FMEA methodologies.
• Understanding of TS16949 / ISO9000 and quality assurance within manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and interpret data effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with awareness of cost impacts.

Quality Engineer
Desirable Experience
• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving tools.
• Background in high-volume or high-speed manufacturing environments.
• Experience in automotive, food, or packaging sectors.
• Understanding of ISO14001 and Health, Safety & Environmental practices.
• Interest in complex, high-output manufacturing processes.
