Job Description
An opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineering Quality Engineer to join a £200M technically challenging project involving complex RC structures in Plymouth. My client is an award-winning tier one contractor delivering a 3-year project within Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth and has a 9-year pipeline of work in region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest construction companies in a newly created role.
As Devonport is a Royal Navy Dockyard, we can only accept applications from UK or NATO country nationals. My client will pay accommodation subsistence depending on home location of the successful post holder.
As a Quality Engineer you will:
* Support the Quality Manager in the coordination, submission, management and compliance of all QA activities.
* Develop Quality Plans/Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
* Ensure LTQR’s are completed and NCR’s are closed-out.
* Provide quality advice to supply chain
Our client requires a Quality Engineer with:
* Experience as a Site/Setting Out Engineer
* Experience of working for a Civil Engineering contractor in a similar role.
* A commitment to Quality Management
* ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification (preferred)
Salary/Benefits:
* £45,000 to £52,000 per annum
* Company car and pension scheme
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Company pension scheme
* Private healthcare for you and spouse/partner
* Accommodation subsistence of £59 per night
