Working in a modern facility which has benefited from recent significant investment, you'll be part of a small, dedicated Quality Team supporting the Quality Manager, assisting in the daily running of the QA Department.
As a Quality Engineer, your duties will include:
Resolving quality queries at all levels.
Conducting Root Cause analysis investigations to determine fault allocations & responsibilities.
Maintaining and managing equipment calibration records and activities.
Carrying out Goods Inwards checks on goods requiring QA attention.
Identifying ineffective routines and work with management to implement improvements.
Visual/Dimensional Approval of New/Modified Products using CMM equipment.
Maintaining accurate quality documents and records.
To be successful in the role of Quality Engineer, the ideal candidate will:
Possess a strong understanding of Quality Tools & techniques.
Have worked in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
Be able to read & understand engineering drawings.
Be able to use a wide range of measuring equipment, including CMM.
