Job Description
Genesis is looking for a Quality Engineer to join one of our clients based in CV4 on a permanent basis.
The client are an aluminium die casting business who specialise in the automotive sector. They are now looking for a Quality Engineer to work on the night shift Monday to Wednesday 6pm - 4am and Thursday 6pm - 3am
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Night Shift Quality Inspector
* Assessing product in accordance with specifications and customer requirements
*
* Ensuring compliance with national and international standards
*
* 3D Scanning (Faro Arm / Scanning Ball) of products for ………..
* Production,
* Development
* New Parts
* Product evaluation at manufacturing locations (Casting Foundry)
The above is not a defined listing of activities, as all Quality dept team members are expected to be flexible in supporting other Quality tasks as well as being flexible to work hours needed to complete specific tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Minimum of 5 years 3D Scanning experience (essential), and CMM / Conventional measuring
Minimum of 5 years Automotive experience (preferable)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Aluminum Die Castings (preferable)
Conversant with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 / Health & Safety management standardsBefore You Apply
