Metrologist - Dimensional Calibration | Coventry | Full-Time
A leading engineering services provider is seeking a skilled Metrologist to join their UKAS-accredited laboratory based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in dimensional metrology and mechanical inspection to contribute to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform calibration and certification of dimensional measuring equipment and reference masters in accordance with approved procedures.
Maintain accurate records and administrative documentation.
Represent the company professionally at both in-house and customer locations.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Holds relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or has completed an engineering apprenticeship with substantial experience in standards room or gauge inspection.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of dimensional metrology and inspection techniques.
Possesses strong knowledge of industry-specific terminology.
Capable of working independently and managing tasks at customer sites.
Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMBefore You Apply
