Job Description
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 06:00 AM – 14:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Location: Coleshill
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting quality assurance processes, ensuring that products meet regulatory standards and internal specifications, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and improve quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
* Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
* Perform internal audits and coordinate external audits as required
* Monitor production processes and implement quality checks to ensure compliance
* Support product inspections, testing, and non-conformance reporting
* Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
* Review and update quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and inspection plans
* Assist in training staff on quality standards and best practices
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as 5 Whys, FMEA, and SPC
* Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related concerns
Skills and Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a Quality Engineering or similar role within a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, CAPA, root cause analysis)
* Good understanding of production processes and materials inspection
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* High level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Desirable Qualifications:
* HNC/HND or degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
* Internal Auditor qualification (ISO 9001)
* Experience working with metal fabrication or electrical products is an advantageBefore You Apply
