Job Description
Quality Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturer
Morson is partnering with one of the UK's leading aerospace manufacturers to find a Quality Engineer to join their team in Broughton.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the company's high standards of quality and safety, ensuring customer satisfaction and product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct operational surveillance, including process, product, and people, to identify and address any quality issues.
Lead investigations and root cause analysis of reported quality technical issues from both internal teams and customers.
Work with multifunctional teams to implement appropriate containment, corrective, and curative actions.
Provide expertise in quality issues to support the shop floor and assist with the opening and closure of non-conformities.
Coach and conduct predictive quality activities for operations to improve processes and prevent foreign object damage.
Perform inspections and surveillance to prevent foreign object debris.
Manage non-conformities as necessary.
Act as the go-to person for quality issues on the shop floor.
Conduct improvement, prediction, and coaching activities as needed.
