We’re working with a specialist precision engineering manufacturer supplying products to customers worldwide. Known for their technical expertise and high standards, they are now looking to appoint a Quality Engineer to strengthen their team in East Kilbride.
- 4 DAY WORKING WEEK (Mon-Thur)
The Role Reporting to the QHSE Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving quality, environmental, and safety standards across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Developing and implementing robust quality standards.
Investigating issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Managing customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution.
Conducting internal and external audits.
Collaborating with suppliers to resolve concerns and drive improvements.
Preparing quality reports and maintaining documentation.About You
Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
HNC in Quality or Process Engineering is desirable.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Skilled in quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, FMEA, DMAIC, etc.
Able to interpret engineering drawings.
Proficient in MS Office and IT systems.What’s On Offer
