Job Description

Quality Manager My client are a leading manufacturer that are seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate would be an experienced Quality Engineer looking for progression into a management role or a Quality Manager. Job Role and Scope This role is responsible for overseeing quality-related activities at the companies facility, ensuring alignment with relevant expectations and best practices. It involves working closely with various teams across the business to support consistent performance and drive ongoing improvement. The position includes helping to shape internal processes, support evaluations, and contribute to efforts that ensure outputs meet agreed quality levels. Main responsibilities * Developing and Implementing Quality Policies and Procedures Responsible for creating and maintaining quality documentation, performing risk assessments, and ensuring processes align with relevant industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. * Conducting Audits and Inspections Carrying out regular audits and operational reviews to verify compliance with internal and external quality requirements, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. * Customer Quality Support Providing expert guidance and support to both new and existing customers, managing quality-related issues, addressing complaints, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions to enhance customer satisfaction. * Risk Assessment Management Identifying and evaluating potential quality and operational risks, and developing appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure robust and reliable processes. Skills, knowledge & experience * Understanding of Electronics * Significant quality management experience within a manufacturing environment. * ISO9001 trained and experienced auditor * Knowledge of lean manufacturing and a strong focus on continuous improvement 37 hours per week Mon to Thurs 08:30 to 17:00 and Fri 08:30 to 13:30 Salary: Up to £50,000
