Job Overview
Our client who are a leading sheet metal & fabrication facility within Shropshire are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes, as well as the ability to analyse data and implement effective quality control measures.
Mechanical engineering / quality background (sheet metal preferable).
* IT / PC literate
* Use of a wide range of measuring equipment, including Vernier Callipers, Protractors, Height Gauges, CMM / measuring arms.
* First off, in process and final inspection.
* Technical / engineering drawings literate.
* Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 standards and procedures.
* PPAP generation including control plans, PFMEA’s, first article inspection reports, etc.
* Internal auditing.
* Customer / supplier facing.
* Driving license required.
