Are you an experienced NPI Quality Engineer looking for your next opportunity?

 Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated NPI Quality Engineer to join their team. This role involves supporting new product introductions, driving APQP activities, and ensuring quality standards are met from concept through to full production. You will play a key role in customer interaction, supplier quality, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced automotive environment.

NPI Quality Engineer

 Job Description

Lead quality for new product introductions, driving APQP, PPAP/PSW submissions, and FMEA updates
Act as the quality voice in program meetings, ensuring risk-averse engineering and zero-failure delivery
Support Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) and internal quality initiatives
Perform audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation (8D, problem-solving)
Monitor KPIs, report quality performance, and implement continuous improvement techniques (Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, MSA)
Ensure compliance with IATF16949 / ISO9001 and customer-specific quality requirements 

 NPI Quality Engineer

 Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Automotive quality engineering experience (Tier 1/OEM preferred)
Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PSW, FMEA, GD&T, and VDA standards
Process/product auditing expertise
Hands-on experience with assembly, moulding, and painted parts advantageous
HNC / DipQ or equivalent (advantageous)
