Quality Inspector – CMM

 Location: Denham

 Salary: £35,000–£38,000

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector with strong CMM capability to join our precision engineering team in Denham. Working a day shift, you’ll be responsible for inspecting and verifying high-precision components, ensuring they meet engineering specifications and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out dimensional inspection of precision-engineered components using manual measurement tools and CMM equipment.

Create, modify, and run CMM programs to validate parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

Accurately maintain inspection documentation and update all relevant systems and databases.

Contribute to Lean and 5S activities to enhance efficiency, quality, and workflow.

Ensure all inspection activities adhere to health, safety, and quality standards.
About You

Background in precision manufacturing or engineering inspection.

Skilled in CMM operation and programming, as well as manual measurement techniques.

Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Completion of an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (advantageous).
