Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Goods Inward Quality Inspector to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about product quality, enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in ensuring products meet the highest standards before entering production.

Working closely with Quality & Engineering, you will play a key role in inspecting incoming materials, components and finished goods, ensuring compliance with specifications, customer requirements and industry standards.

Key duties:

  * Carrying out goods inward inspections on components, materials and finished products.

  * Performing dimensional inspections using a range of measuring and testing equipment.

  * Identifying, recording and managing non-conforming products.

  * Segregating defective materials and maintaining accurate non-conformance reports.

  * Supporting investigations into quality issues and assisting with root cause analysis.

  * Assessing incoming products and identifying any risks to quality or performance.

  * Maintaining accurate quality records and inspection documentation.

  * Monitoring and maintaining inspection equipment, ensuring calibration requirements are met.

  * Following quality procedures and Health & Safety requirements at all times.

Experience required:

  * Previous experience in a Quality Inspection, Goods Inward Inspection, or Quality Assurance role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

  * Experience using a variety of measuring and testing equipment.

  * Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.

  * Ability to identify quality concerns and support problem-solving activities.

  * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems

This role is Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week. Benefits include company pension, free onsite parking and opportunities for further development and progression
