Mechanical Quality Inspector
Location: Southall, Greater London
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (negotiable, dependant on experience)
Benefits:
4 day working week

An established leader in the subcontract manufacturing of precision machined components, serving a prestigious and diverse Aerospace client base with long-term 10-year programs. With a focus on engineering excellence, they provide high-quality solutions across the industry. Due to continued growth and reinvestment, there is a new opportunity for a skilled and experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.
Duties:
Conduct manual quality inspection using standard inspection/checking equipment such as Micrometres, Calipers, Height Gauges, and Shadow Graph
Operate both manual and CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
Program CMMs with PC DMIS software
Utilise Visual FAIR software and potentially
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
Key Skills:
Experience as a Quality Inspector, particularly in mechanical quality inspection
Familiarity with FAIR, CMM operation, and PC DMIS software
Background in precision engineering and component manufacturing
Knowledge of Aerospace industry standards such as AS9100
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a small team environment
Hours of Work:
40 hours per week
4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
Flexible start times, 6am to 8am
Overtime available paid at x1.333hrs weekdays and x1.5 Saturdays
