Job Description

Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Horsham

Overview:
We are looking for a detail-focused Quality Inspector to ensure components, sub-assemblies, and finished products meet strict industry standards. This hands-on role supports production quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Inspect incoming materials and supplier components, ensuring compliance with specifications.

  * 

    Conduct in-process inspections and final product checks, performing visual, dimensional, and functional tests.

  * 

    Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and report non-conformances.

  * 

    Approve finished goods and certify for dispatch in line with regulated industry standards.

  * 

    Investigate quality issues, support CAPA, and recommend process improvements.

  * 

    Provide day-to-day quality support to production teams to maintain delivery schedules.

Requirements:

  * 

    Experience in quality inspection within aerospace, automotive, or regulated manufacturing environments.

  * 

    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

  * 

    Skilled with measurement tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and borescopes.

  * 

    Knowledge of quality standards (AS9100/AS9110/AS9120, ISO 9001) and NCR processes.

  * 

    Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.

  * 

    Computer literate with experience in reporting tools and quality databases.

Qualifications:

  * 

    GCSEs (minimum English & Maths) or NVQ Level 2/3 in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline.

  * 

    Previous experience in a regulated quality inspection role.

  * 

    Understanding of inspection methods and basic manufacturing processes
