Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our client in the Bristol area. Our client is a manufacturer of specialised parts for the aerospace industry.

The Company: Our client specialises in machining complex machined parts for the aerospace industry. They’re an established business in their field and work with market-leading names to assist them with the manufacturing of parts.

The Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring the continued production and supply of conforming parts. This is a critical position to the business. Responsibilities include:

  * Inspect and verify products meet quality standards and specifications.

  * Perform measurements using CMM and optical equipment, recording results digitally.

  * Support quality checks throughout production and report findings.

  * Analyse data to aid calibration and process improvement.

  * Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes.

  * Supporting the Machining teams where required

  * Maintain a safe and organised working environment.

About you:

  * Experience using manual and CNC CMM and other measurement equipment.

  * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  * Skilled in inspecting components to tight tolerances and selecting appropriate measuring tools.

  * Knowledge of quality management systems (AS/EN/JISQ 9100) and supporting NCRs, investigations, and corrective actions.

  * Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams).

  * Motivated, flexible, and a strong team player who is open to learning and feedback.

  * Committed to maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.
