Senior Inspector
Rochdale, OL16
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
£13.56 per hour
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Inspector to join our manufacturing team based in Rochdale (OL16). This is a full-time position working standard weekday hours.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all products meet required quality standards, supporting operational compliance, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  * 
    Manage the quarantine, investigation, repair/rework and reporting of all supplier, internal and external failures within expected timescales
  * 
    Conduct product and process audits to verify that operators and supervisors are complying with build and process standards
  * 
    Collect product and process data daily and weekly to support business KPIs and report findings to the Quality Manager
  * 
    Ensure NPI (New Product Introduction), ECN (Engineering Change Notes) and CI (Continuous Improvement) projects/changes are fully documented and approved before release to production
  * 
    Prepare and deliver training to operators and supervisors on product standards and process methods, as requested by the Site Supervisor/Manager
Essential Requirements
  * 
    Previous experience as an Inspector within a manufacturing environment
  * 
    Strong knowledge of quality practices and procedures
  * 
    Experience in inspection, testing, and quality documentation
  * 
    Ability to read and understand technical/engineering drawings
  * 
    Educated to a minimum of GCSE level (or equivalent)
  * 
    Strong mathematical skills
  * 
    IT literate, with experience using MRP systems (Syspro preferred)
