Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our clients growing manufacturing team based in Telford. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, experience working with small components and confidence using inspection tools to ensure products meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Carry out visual and dimensional inspections on incoming, in‑process and finished products

  * 

    Use measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, gauges and other precision tools

  * 

    Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records

  * 

    Identify non‑conformances and support root‑cause investigations

  * 

    Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues

  * 

    Ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards

  * 

    Support continuous improvement activities across the quality function

  * 

    Follow company procedures, quality systems and health & safety guidelines

Skills & Experience

  * 

    Previous experience in a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician or similar inspection role

  * 

    Confident using manual measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, gauges etc.)

  * 

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  * 

    Strong attention to detail and methodical approach

  * 

    Good communication skills and ability to work with production teams

  * 

    Experience working with small or precision components is highly beneficial

Working hours

  * Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
