 Senior Quality Inspector
 Straight Day Shifts

 Our client, is a precision engineering manufacturer looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Senior Inspector, you will be undertaking a hands-on role where your expertise in precision engineering and quality systems will directly shape the company's reputation and delivery.
  
 Duties will include:
  
Inspection and pass-off activities using Roma Arm scanner, standard inspection equipment and the CMM machine. 
Creation of FAIRs 
Programming the CMM using PC Demis system. 
Produce regular control plans and regular reports. 
Create tool trial reports. 
Complete feasibility studies for new tooling. 
Create and maintain SOPs and WIs.  Candidate Skill Requirements
  
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quality Inspector from a precision engineering background. 
Confident inspecting components produced from CNC machines. 
Hands-on experience with Roma Arm scanner, together with standard inspection equipment. 
PCDemis software programming skills. 
Proven track record in precision engineering inspection and pass-off procedures for FAIR preparation 
Strong communication skills to report quality findings clearly. 
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while supporting the wider quality team  Preferred Qualifications
  
Any Engineering Qualification 
Hands on experience is more important than a Quality-based qualification. 
Surface finishing or injection moulding experience would be an advantage, but is not an essential requirement.  In return you can expect to receive a very attractive salary, working a straight day shift, with an early finish on Fridays.
