Job Description
Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to be engaged on a contract basis, to be located in Berkshire.
??????Main Responsibilities
Be proactive in preventing substandard Works being produced by coaching and providing training.
To be the arbiter between all parties on any quality related issues, preventing them being raise directly to the Project Director where possible without compromising quality.
Communicate with delivery team and sub-contractors to ensure full understanding of quality assurance requirements.
Check the works during progress and on completion to ensure that it has been constructed in line with the Work Information.
Communicate to the Quality Managers and Quality Engineers any non-conformances.
Ensure that inspection and tests are carried out in line with the inspection and test plans, Safe System of Work for the controlling the works and that all necessary documentation is produced in a timely manner.
Assist the Quality engineers in carrying out site surveillances.
