Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering business in their search for a Quality Inspector to work in Deeside
Job Details:
Pay: £36,500 - £40,560 DOE
Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7:30-16:30, Friday 7:30-12:30
Duration: Permanent
Benefits: Standard pension, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
Job Role: The role involves reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, setting up and operating CMM machines, running inspection cycles, manual inspection, analysing data, programming and modifying CMM routines, maintaining calibration equipment, and ensuring documentation compliance.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
Experience using Liker measuring arm and FARO arm
Knowledge of PC-DMIS and Soft Polyworks software
NVQ Level 2/3 in mechanical manufacturing, performing engineering operations, or engineering maintenance
CMM software training
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
HNC/HND in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering
SPC Quality Control certificates
CAD / Metrology software training
Additional Information
Overtime required – paid at time and a half
Commutable From: Deeside, Connahs Quay, Flint, Chester, Wrexham, Wirral, Shotton, Queensferry
