Job Description
Quality Inspector – Wolverhampton
A leading engineering business in Wolverhampton is looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment where your development is a priority.
What you’ll be doing:
* Carrying out manual inspections using micrometers, height gauges, and vision systems
* Supporting new product introductions (NPI) and final assembly inspections
* Conducting AS9102 First Article Inspections and CMM prove-outs
* Collaborating with the wider Quality team to improve processes
* Providing technical support and training to operator inspectors
What we’re looking for:
* HNC/HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and inspection techniques
* Experience with Zeiss Calypso or PC-DMIS systems is desirable
* Aerospace or precision engineering background is a plus
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
