Job Description
A precision engineering business is seeking a skilled and reliable Quality Inspector to strengthen its quality assurance team. The company supplies high-precision machined components across various industries and is committed to maintaining the highest standards through rigorous inspection and attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
Perform first-off and final inspections of machined components using hand-held measuring instruments.
Ensure all parts meet specified tolerances by accurately interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Complete inspection documentation in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
Carry out finishing tasks such as de-burring and polishing prior to dispatch.
Utilise metrology / measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, gauges, and micrometres.Requirements
Proven experience as an Inspector
Skills using verniers, calipers, gauges, micrometres.
CMM experience desirable but not essential.
Location: Northwich
Permanent: £16 - £17 per hour + Benefits
