Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company specialising in advanced security detection and inspection equipment. This is a contract role covering sickness, with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specified tolerances.
Carry out measurements and checks on components using appropriate tools and equipment.
Identify and correct issues relating to quality, tolerances, or compliance.
Accurately record inspection results and maintain clear documentation.
Liaise with warehouse and production teams to resolve any non-conformance.
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in a quality inspection, goods inwards, or similar role within engineering/manufacturing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to measure tolerances accurately.
Competent with measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independentlyBefore You Apply
